District schools began the 2020-21 school year in Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL).

On Nov. 9, 2020, the district announced that CDL will be extended through the second quarter, until Feb. 8, 2021, and began offering limited in person instruction (LIPI) for small cohorts of students.

On Feb. 8, the district announced that in-person hybrid learning was planned to begin for elementary students on March 15. Families were sent information to help them understand the elementary hybrid model, followed by a survey to gather information on their decision to choose hybrid or remain in CDL.

On March 15, hybrid students returned to in-person learning in elementary schools. Families who chose CDL remained in distance learning.

On March 20, the district announced plans to offer a hybrid option for middle and high school students, scheduled to begin April 19, the first day of 4th quarter.
