Summer meals program begins Monday, June 20

McMinnville elementary schools, and Duniway Middle School, will offer free breakfast and lunch to children this summer. Any child, ages one through 18, can receive a federally funded free meal at any participating school from June 20—August 26, 2016.

This year, a new lunch site has been added in the Rec Room at the Redwood Commons Apartments (2161 NE Lafayette Avenue).  Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m.—2:30 p.m. 

Elementary school sites serve breakfast from 8:15—9 a.m. and lunch is served from 11:30 a.m.—12:30 p.m.

Duniway Middle School will serve breakfast from 8:10 a.m.—9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.—12:30 p.m.

There will be no meals at Grandhaven or Memorial Elementary from July 2—31.

Meals are also included for elementary and secondary summer school students.

No meals will be served at any site on Monday, July 4.

Adults may purchase a breakfast meal for $2.50 or lunch for $3.75 without milk or $4.00 with milk. All meals must be eaten on site.
