Patton Middle School Play: The Wizard of Oz

Patton Middle School Drama is proud to announce our winter production of L. Frank Baum’s classic, The Wizard of Oz

This version has been adapted for middle school performers and will delight audiences with it's humor and music. Dorothy and her dog, Toto, are caught in a tornado's path and magically end up in Oz. In Oz, Dorothy meets some memorable friends including the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man, and the Scarecrow.  

We have an all-star cast. Maddie Smith as Dorothy, Nicholas Payton as the Lion, Ben Sparrow as the Tin Man, Evan Ewing as the Scarecrow, Annie Clayton as the Witch, Brooke Ashton as Glinda, Sydney Holcombe as Toto (in OZ) and many more! Don’t miss the acting debut of Mattie Ewing, a 7 year old Jack Russell Terrier, as Toto (in Kansas).

The show will be performed at Patton Middle School on January 9 and 10 at 7 p.m. and January 11 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for General Admission and $3 for students and seniors. Doors open a half hour before the show starts. Tickets can be purchased at the door. We will also be hosting a Craft sale during each of the performance nights. Items range in price from $1-$20.
