Posted on 06/17/2016

The McMinnville School District is seeking applications for the Citizens Bond Advisory Committee and an opening on its Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors application will fill a position created by current board member Stan Primozich, who will vacate his position on June 30, 2016.

The Citizens Bond Advisory Committee will provide community oversight for the school bond, which successfully passed on May 17, 2016. The committee, composed of three school board members and three citizen volunteers, will participate during the design and construction phase of multiple aspects of bond projects and make reports and recommendations to the full Board of Directors.

The committee will also receive bond expenditure reports from District staff and review for compliance with the bond election notice. The committee is considered to be solely advisory to the McMinnville School District Board of Directors.

The committee will be appointed to attend quarterly meetings and occasionally participate in sub-committee assignments.

Applications may be picked up at the McMinnville School District office, 1500 NE Baker Street, McMinnville or download here for the Bond Citizens Advisory Committee and the School Board position.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. June 23, 2016 for consideration. More details here.
