After-School Programs

The Kids on the Block After-School Elementary Enrichment Program is a collaborative  partnership between the McMinnville School District and the City of McMinnville Parks & Recreation department with support from Kids on the Block Inc.

Kids on the Block provides a safe, educationally rich environment for elementary-aged children to learn and play after school. The program includes time for homework, as well as a wide variety of enriching recreational opportunities, such as arts and crafts, sports, performing arts, games, leadership development activities, and occasional special assemblies and field trips.

A supplemental program, Success Now! is offered by invitation and is part of the after-school program. Success Now! provides students with the opportunity to work on mastering the skills and concepts they need to meet the standards of their grade level.
