The McMinnville School District is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the District’s Budget Committee. Committee members serve for a three-year term.

Committee meetings are generally held during early spring to develop a budget recommendation for the School Board for the coming school year. The committee is made up of the seven School Board members and seven community members.

The superintendent and the director of Finance prepare the budget, provide committee members with back-up information, and provide guidance in public school financing to assist committee members as necessary in the budget process.

Interested applicants may download the application or pick up one at the District Office, 1500 N Baker Street in McMinnville, or by calling 503-565-4001. Applications are due on July 21. Applicants will be interviewed by the School Board at their August 10 business meeting.
